Michael G. Burbank brings more than 25 years of dedicated study to his work, shaped by long-term learning with Robert Thurman and His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama. His journey began during his undergraduate years at Columbia University in the 1990s, where he studied Eastern religions and cultures and developed a deep, lasting interest in Tibetan wisdom traditions.

In February 2002, he was invited to assist the Thurmans and Tibet House, marking an important step in his continued involvement with this field.
