Meta Bobbe (she/her) is an integrative body therapist, embodiment and movement researcher, and community organizer within the Contact Improvisation field. Since first encountering CI in Israel in 2012, this practice has been central to her life. In 2018, she joined the Underscore +/- group and has continued exploring it weekly ever since. For 14 years, the group has been studying the Underscore and witnessing the effects of dedication and repetition within the work. Meta is honored to share some of these learnings as a co-presenter.
She also serves on the leadership team at Earthdance and has been part of the CICo seasonal jam organization team since 2019. A former Earthdance Board Member, Meta is a Certified Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist, Ilan Lev Method Practitioner, and Licensed Massage Therapist. She holds a BBA in Management and Human Resources from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and lives in Northampton, Massachusetts. A traveler and former expat, she brings a broad, lived perspective to her work.
