
Melissa brings a joyful, nurturing energy to every class, creating a space where children and families can move, breathe, and connect with ease. Yoga is her way of keeping both body and mind balanced, and that sense of calm and strength shines through in her teaching. She describes FCY as feeling like family, surrounded by warmth, encouragement, and support.
In her classes, students can expect a playful atmosphere, a lighthearted flow, and thoughtful attention to alignment and form. Melissa’s approach makes yoga approachable and engaging, while still helping young movers build confidence, coordination, and body awareness. Her schedule includes Kids Yoga and Family Yoga.
When she’s off the mat, Melissa enjoys spending time in her garden, reading, and being with her husband and fur babies.
