Matilde Silva’s Ashtanga Yoga path began unexpectedly in April 2023 and soon became a true calling. Drawn in quickly, she joined Cristiano Yoga School and committed herself to an intense early-morning practice, later deepening her studies at Asturias Yoga through dedicated learning and personal growth.
Her training also included observing and assisting at Cristiano Yoga School, where she expanded her understanding of Yoga Therapy and adjustments. After completing her 200-hour YTT at Asturias, she received a scholarship for advanced training, a meaningful milestone in her journey.
In just one year of practicing Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga, Matilde experienced a powerful transformation. The practice has taught her impermanence, equanimity, and how to find contentment in each moment. It has also helped her face deep-rooted samskaras and the hala hala of her past as they emerged through the body.
For Matilde, yoga is both discipline and inner exploration, revealing light and shadow alike. She is dedicated to sharing the gifts of Ashtanga Yoga and hopes to bring love, light, and healing to her community and beyond.
