Maryanthie studied Marketing and Communications at the American College of Greece and built a successful seven-year career in media. Her first encounter with Hatha Yoga came in 2001. Guided and encouraged by her teacher, Michalis Filinis, she completed her first yoga teacher training in London in 2005, while finishing her MA degree.
In 2010, seeking a more balanced way of life, she left her role as an Account Manager at a local TV station and joined the Yogaworks teacher training. Two years later, she completed the first Aerial Yoga training held in Greece, along with a 300-hour teacher training in Hatha, Vinyasa, and Gentle Yoga.
Since 2015, she has run her own yoga studio in the southern suburbs of Athens, while remaining highly active in downtown Athens. Her dynamic practice blends continuous breath awareness with precise asana alignment, with the intention of helping students uncover their full physical and mental potential.
Maryanthie continues to expand her knowledge through yoga seminars in Greece and abroad, learning from teachers including David Swenson, Todd Tesen, Rima Rani Rabbath, Eddie Stern, Eleftheria Lagoudaki, Surrinder Singh, Swami Nirvikalpa, Patrick Broome, Swami Yogananda, Cat Alip Douglas, Ty Landrum, and Meghan Curry.
