After plenty of encouragement from her eldest daughter, Candice, Mary began practicing Bikram yoga in search of better health. At the time, she was dealing with carpal tunnel syndrome and high blood pressure, and her very first class made a lasting impression. From day one, she noticed positive changes both on and off the mat, eventually completing a 30-day challenge that deepened her commitment to the practice.
Inspired by how profoundly Bikram yoga supported her wellbeing, Mary went on to teacher training so she could share its benefits with others. In her classes, she brings a warm, nurturing presence, along with clear guidance and steady encouragement that help students stay focused and motivated. Her teaching style creates an uplifting space where practitioners can challenge themselves with confidence.
When she is not in the studio, Mary loves spending time in the kitchen, experimenting with a wide range of cuisines and creating delicious dishes. That same care and creativity carry into her teaching, making her sessions both supportive and energizing.
