Mary Cate Hauenstein is a Licensed Professional Counselor and trauma specialist with more than 15 years of experience weaving evidence-based therapy together with yoga, breathwork, and emerging psychedelic modalities. Her approach bridges ancient wisdom and modern science, helping clients reconnect with the body’s innate intelligence and the peace of the present moment. Drawing on depth psychology, somatic healing, and Vedic practice, she offers a grounded and integrative path to healing.
Born and raised in Aspen, Mary Cate carries forward the Hauenstein family’s legacy of civic leadership and the town’s mind-body-spirit ethos, shaped further by years of living and serving in China, India, and other cultures. Inspired by her own nonlinear healing journey and global service, she sees medicine as a sacred collaboration between mind, body, and spirit. Her work aims to elevate mental health care into a ritual of remembrance, supporting people in returning to their wholeness and extending compassion outward.
At SANCTUM, Mary Cate serves as a clinical facilitator supporting guests with higher-scope needs, bringing safety, depth, and grounded compassion to each container.
