Working as part of the Estate team, he leads nature conservation projects that focus on restoring and protecting the landscape for the future. His work includes supporting white storks and wildcats, a role that brings both its challenges and moments of real joy. Having come with the property, he feels closely connected to the land and is motivated by the chance to help shape it for the better.
His projects range from removing non-native spruce plantations to help restore the ancient woodland at Fry's Wood, to contributing to species reintroduction efforts such as the white storks. With a strong belief that people have a responsibility to give back to the natural world, he sees conservation as a meaningful way to repair what has been lost and support a healthier, more balanced environment.
