One of the original owners of the property, Marie helped shape Blue Osa alongside her late husband, Jean-François, and continues to be a cherished presence within the Blue Osa family years later. Deeply inspired by Aaron and Adam’s vision for the retreat, she remains the nurturing heart of the community, offering warmth, wisdom, and a welcoming spirit to all who visit.
Born in Algeria and raised in the seaside town of Biarritz in the south of France, Marie grew up at the meeting point of French and Italian heritage, with a French mother and an Italian father. A self-taught chef, she brings an intuitive, personal approach to cuisine, reflecting a lifetime shaped by family, culture, and coastal living.
