Since 2010, I have been deepening my spiritual practice through a two-year yoga teacher training recognized by the BdfY, comprising a total of 500 teaching units at Yoga-Balance Marburg. Alongside this intensive study, I completed further training as a certified yoga and relaxation therapist as well as a Thai yoga massage therapist at the Yoga Akademie Freiburg. I bring these qualifications together with many years of professional experience as a special education teacher, which gives my work a distinctive educational perspective.
Inspired by my first journey to India two decades ago, I have made yoga a central foundation of my life and enjoy sharing these insights passionately in classes and workshops. I am deeply fascinated by the way yoga practice touches both the physical level and the energetic system, while also transforming one’s outlook on life in a lasting way. For me, the practice serves as a strong anchor for centering the self and opens the heart to the present moment.
My teaching style is marked by clarity, deep calm, and a devoted attitude. I invite you to open yourself joyfully to your own practice. With an empathetic approach, I place the highest value on each person’s well-being and encourage a holistic exploration of the asanas. I have endless joy in discovering new yoga styles and continuing my education through travel, seminars, and international yoga conferences. Yoga is a constant companion in my life, guiding me through different places, people, and the flowing changes of life.
I encourage my students to observe body and mind attentively so they can find their individual yoga path and live it consciously in everyday life. Attention to the breath, sensitivity to the body, and awareness of the present moment are at the center of my work. My goal is to establish a healthy relationship with the body and a respectful attitude toward one’s own strengths and limits.
My classes unfold organically, and my positive guidance encourages participants to listen mindfully to the sound of their own heart. In my teaching, I emphasize conscious movement according to the principle of “sthira-sukham-asanam,” which means that every posture combines stability and ease. The coordination of movement and breath, along with gentle stretching and opening of the body, remains at the heart of the practice in order to awaken a deep sense of inner peace.
My integrative yoga is a loving invitation to self-care. It offers a solid foundation that allows you to integrate yoga meaningfully and individually into daily life and meet the challenges of our time with greater patience, human warmth, and creativity. My offering invites you to embark on an exciting journey toward your own yoga path. “Yoga allows me to awaken my energy and use it in my life. Yoga also gives me calm and peace, and is therefore balm for the soul.”
