Founder of Mana Movement and Liberation Through Movement, Mana was born and raised in California and began classical ballet at the age of three. She trained almost daily throughout her university years, studying modern dance, pedagogy, dance improvisation, somatic movement, and earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance, along with a minor in Exercise and Health Science.
She went on to perform as a professional modern dancer with internationally touring companies for six years. During that time, she also discovered ecstatic dance culture and the power of free, expressive movement.
After the birth of her first son, Mana relocated to Bali, where she deepened her studies in spirituality, meditation, tantra, breathwork, feminine embodiment, and somatic and dance therapy. She also began facilitating workshops, events, and rituals centered on movement as a path of healing and transformation.
In 2018, Mana created the Mana Movement Practice, which she has continued to evolve into its current form. She now lives in Northern California and offers online Mana Movement programs, experiences, and community, as well as the Mana Movement Teacher Training and LTM Mentorship Program.
