Known as Isabarry, a name that means “bird of the sun” or “messenger of the sun,” Maestro Javier Vasquez Gomez brings a deep and steady presence to Soltara Healing Center. Born in 1973 and originally from Nuevo Paraiso, just outside Pucallpa, he has dedicated 30 years to healing, first learning the ancient traditions of plant medicine from his grandfather at a young age. His work is rooted in a strong connection to his lineage, heritage, and spiritual guidance.
At Soltara, Maestro Javier serves not only as a healer, but also as a mentor to other healer teams, generously passing on the wisdom preserved through generations of his family. Together with his wife, Maestra Anita, he shares a philosophy centered on the healing strength of spiritual clarity and freedom from fear through the sacred use of plant medicine. His favorite plant, Shihuahuaco, reflects his bond with the earth and his devotion to supporting the spiritual well-being of each guest. We are honored to have Maestro Javier and Maestra Anita on our team.
