Also known as Wexa Pico in Shipibo, Eligio was born deep in the Peruvian jungle, in the native community of Vencedor, a 24-hour boat journey from Pucallpa. The son of Maestra Justina and Maestro Cesar, he comes from a pure lineage of Meraya Shipibo healers and is considered one of the Amazon’s most promising talents.
He began working with Ayahuasca at just 14, completing his first Noma Rao dieta under his mother’s guidance. Over the past 9 years, he has continued refining his gifts in the plant world while working alongside his family at Arkana Spiritual Center, supporting visitors from around the world on their healing journeys.
Now a father of three beautiful children, Eligio is proud to represent the new generation of Shipibo healers and hopes to inspire other Shipibo youth. Though young in years, he carries the wisdom of his ancestors and brings a powerful, uplifting energy to every session.
