Born in San Francisco de Yarinacocha, Pucallpa, Peru, Maestro Daniel Lopez, also known as Ray Bexo, grew up surrounded by ancestral knowledge and traditional healing practices. From the age of 18, he began learning about sacred medicinal plants under the guidance of his grandparents, setting him on a lifelong path of curanderismo and shamanism.
Connected to a respected lineage as a cousin of Maestro Alfredo and nephew of Maestra Celia, he has devoted himself to deep study and practice through traditional diets such as Chirisangó, Marosa, Niwe Rao, Renaco, and Noya Rao. His journey began at the shelter Aya Madre, where his commitment to this path continued to deepen.
Today, Maestro Daniel Lopez is dedicated not only to healing traditions, but also to protecting cultural heritage and preserving the Shipibo Konibo language for future generations.
