
Born and raised in the Shipibo village of Santa Isabel de Bahuanisho, Ucayali, Maestra Rosenda Melendez Flores carries forward a family lineage deeply rooted in healing. Surrounded by ceremonies in her youth, she felt a strong calling at the age of 30 to begin her own dieta path into shamanism and step fully into the role of healer.
She apprenticed with her brother-in-law, Maestro Deodomero, and later brought her gifts to several well-known Ayahuasca centers in Iquitos and Pucallpa. Today, she continues to deepen her knowledge each year by dieting many plants, honoring both her ancestry and her commitment to growth.
With more than 20 years of experience working with the ancestral medicine Ayahuasca, Maestra Rosenda is known for the graceful feminine presence she brings to ceremony. Her medicine songs create a powerful and heartfelt atmosphere, supporting participants through a deeply immersive healing experience.
