Maestra Rosa is a respected wise woman whose life is closely woven with the rhythms of nature and the spiritual traditions of her community. She met Maestro Santiago during a traditional carnival celebration in their village, a meaningful gathering for single young people. From that moment, a shared path began—one that grew into a large family and a life devoted to spiritual service.
As Santiago’s life partner, Rosa has lovingly carried forward ancestral knowledge with humility and care. Through her presence and devotion, she has helped preserve and transmit the wisdom of her lineage to future generations. A mother of fourteen children, ten of whom are still living, she represents the feminine strength and spirit of the Q'ero tradition.
Rooted in heritage, family, and sacred responsibility, Maestra Rosa offers a living connection to the enduring wisdom of the Andes.
