Maestra Margarita

Maestra Margarita is a gifted Shipibo medicine woman from the fishing town of Vencedor on the Pisqui River. As the daughter of Maestro Cesar, a respected healer, Margarita was immersed in the traditions of plant medicine from an early age. Her deep connection to the natural world and the spirit realm was evident as a child, manifesting in her sensitivity to plants, dreams, and energies.

Guided by her father, Margarita began her path as a healer, dedicating herself to the study and practice of sacred master plants. Her beautiful Icaros — medicine songs — carry the essence of her ancestors, resonating with unconditional love and the power of the divine feminine. These songs reflect her compassionate spirit and commitment to helping others reconnect with their true selves.

Margarita’s approach to healing emphasizes balance, harmony, and the interconnectedness of all beings. She believes that love is the key to fulfillment and that creating self-sustaining communities in harmony with nature can pave the way for a brighter future.
