Maestra Lucy Alvarado Picota is a gifted healer and devoted mother of four, now 49 years old, from the indigenous community of Tupac Amaru in Ucayali, Loreto. Her path in healing began at the age of 19, inspired by the example of her parents, and has since grown into a lifelong commitment to traditional wisdom and plant medicine.
She leads numerous plant diets featuring Noa Rao, Shihuahuaco, Machinga, Renaco, and Bobinsana, offering a deeply rooted approach to healing and renewal. Lucy believes that every illness can become an invitation to heal, supported by strong willpower and spiritual strength. Her work reflects both personal devotion and a wider mission: preserving indigenous knowledge, culture, and the teachings passed down through generations.
