Lucia Horan

Born in 1976 on the sacred grounds of Esalen in Big Sur, Lucia Horan grew up within the Esalen community and was immersed early in the living traditions that shaped her path. She became a certified Esalen® Massage practitioner in 1994, later training as a Hatha and Ashtanga yoga teacher in 1997. Since 1998, she has been sharing 5Rhythms® moving meditation, informed by lifelong direct study with Gabrielle Roth. Her background also includes a BA from Goddard College, where she majored in expressive art therapy.

Lucia’s work reflects a deep connection to embodiment, movement, and healing. Through yoga, massage, and meditation in motion, she offers a grounded and intuitive presence shaped by decades of practice and teaching. Her approach invites participants to explore awareness, expression, and inner connection in a supportive and experienced setting.
