Raised in the mountain community of Piedras Blanca in the lower Savegre River basin, Lucía Granados Elizondo grew up surrounded by the raw beauty of Costa Rica’s nature. Although the area had no electricity or phone service, she considers that upbringing a gift that shaped her deep appreciation for the land and its rhythms.
At 18, she began working as a guide with Costa Rica Outward Bound, bringing both curiosity and care to her work. Alongside her connection to the outdoors, Lucía has nurtured a lifelong passion for painting, which she has practiced since the age of 13. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts and Education, reflecting her commitment to both creative expression and teaching.
Lucía finds joy in learning, sharing knowledge, and inspiring others through her experience, artistry, and love for education.
