Lorna is a New York-trained bodyworker and creative athlete based in Chicago, IL. Her background as an aerial circus performer first led her to massage therapy as a healing art, and it continues to shape her distinctive understanding of physiology and movement patterns. With skilled, intuitive touch, she helps ease pain and discomfort while supporting greater body awareness, posture, movement, and self-care.
Her approach is grounded in the belief that physical, mental, emotional, and psychological experiences are all reflected in the body. Through informed, empathetic work, she seeks to restore a healthy mind-body connection and create a collaborative somatic healing experience. Lorna supports clients in recognizing their own self-healing potential and the body’s natural capacity for healing.
Her specialties include structural integration, Swedish bodywork, sports and rehabilitative bodywork, cupping, myofascial release, manual lymphatic drainage, craniosacral therapy, thought field therapy (TFT), emotional freedom technique (EFT), TAP therapy, mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, trauma-informed bodywork, healing through vagus nerve activation, and somatic therapy.
