Lonnie Delisle
Description
Raised in a singing household and shaped by years of choir experience in childhood, college, and university, Lonnie Delisle developed a deep foundation in choral leadership from an early age. He often speaks to the unique power of the human voice, especially when many voices come together in harmony to create something greater than the sum of its parts. For Lonnie, that shared energy is where the magic happens.
His professional work reflects both artistry and dedication. He serves as Artistic Director of the Universal Gospel Choir, Musician in Residence at the Vancouver School of Theology, Music Director at Peninsula United Church, and Composer/Curator for Cypress Choral Music. His academic background includes a Master of Music in Vocal Performance from Western Washington University and a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Trinity Western University.
