Gelong Loden Nyima has devoted more than fifteen years to Buddhist monastic life, bringing depth, discipline, and lived experience to his teaching. From 2009 to 2017, he lived at Gampo Abbey, where he engaged in intensive practice, completed a full cycle of advanced studies (shedra), received empowerments, and served as a senior teacher. He later spent 2017 to 2023 at Drala Mountain Center, continuing his work as a teacher in a setting dedicated to contemplative practice and learning.
His background reflects both long-term personal practice and years of guiding others within established Buddhist communities. Those who study with him can expect teachings grounded in tradition, clarity, and real-world experience, offered with a calm and attentive presence.
