With more than 30 years of experience as an elementary school music specialist and choir director in Calgary, Liz Paynter brings a wealth of knowledge, warmth, and enthusiasm to every room she leads. She currently serves as music director at Scarboro United Church, while also shaping the sound and spirit of the children’s choirs at Mount Royal University and EnChor Chamber Choir as artistic director.
Liz is deeply committed to making music accessible to everyone, creating an encouraging space where participants can feel comfortable, connected, and inspired. Her approach is welcoming and joyful, with an emphasis on shared experience, laughter, and the simple pleasure of making music together.
