Program Facilitator. Lisa joined the Rustic Mama Retreats team in spring 2022, bringing with her a deep passion for art and a genuine love of helping others tap into their creativity. She studied Fine Arts with a minor in dramatic arts at the Ontario College of Art, then took an unexpected turn and earned a diploma in Law & Security Administration from Georgian College.
In her teens, Lisa was a member of the Royal Canadian Air Cadets. In June 1990, she joined the Canadian Armed Forces as a Reservist and went on to work in the Air Cadet program across several units, holding a variety of leadership roles before recently concluding her career as the Commanding Officer of 2818 RC(Army)CC in Belleville, Ontario.
Today, Lisa lives in Eastern Ontario with her husband Ross, where they also operate a First Aid Training and Wilderness Survival business. A proud workaholic and devoted mum of four furry kids — Chloe, Jack, Argus, and Paxil — she brings warmth, experience, and creativity to every retreat she supports.
