My journey with yoga began more than 20 years ago, and it truly transformed when I found myself in New Zealand among a vibrant group of yogis. For the first time, I felt a deeper connection between body and mind, and I always left the mat feeling lighter, with whatever no longer served me released. That experience gave me a place to return to throughout my life and inspired a path of self-development through yoga that eventually led me to teaching.
I have completed training with the British Wheel of Yoga (BWY), BSY, and Yoga Alliance, and I always welcome the chance to expand my understanding of yoga and continue learning.
For many years, I worked as a UK registered nurse, and that background has given me a thoughtful way of observing the body. I know that every person is different, with unique challenges and needs, and I approach practice with kindness and an open heart.
I enjoy teaching a range of styles, from strong vinyasa to gentle restorative and Yin classes. Each has its place at different times. My intention is to help you create more space in both body and mind, while supporting a deeper personal practice.
