
Lho Ontul Rinpoche is a highly accomplished lama and yogi within the Drikung Kagyu lineage of Tibetan Buddhism. Born in Tibet in 1950, he was recognized at a young age as an emanation of Kunzang Drodul, the 1st Lho Ontul Rinpoche, who was the elder brother of the revered 19th–20th century saint Orgyen Nuden Dorje.
His lineage carries deep historical significance, as the first Ontul Rinpoche was identified as an emanation of Drog Ban Khiu Chung Lotsawa, one of the twenty-five principal disciples of Guru Padmasambhava.
