About Leo Bierman MS LAc
Leo is a licensed, nationally board-certified acupuncturist and Chinese medicine practitioner with 10 years of experience in New York City. His work is rooted in extensive study and practical training, combining traditional healing arts with a sincere commitment to inner growth and spiritual practice. Alongside his clinical background, Leo is a certified Nei Gong instructor through Lotus Nei Gong International and has studied closely for nine years with his teacher, Damo Mitchell.
His background also includes training in Tibetan Buddhist and Bön traditions, as well as comparative religion. As an ordained Interfaith Minister, Leo offers a calm, thoughtful presence and a perspective that connects body, mind, and spirit.
