A student of Buddha Dharma and Shambhala Dharma since 1980, Lennart has been an active Kasung since 1983. In the 1980s, he helped teach and develop kasungship in Europe and played a role in organizing the first European MPEs. He became an officer in 1986 and a sergeant in 1987.
After settling in Nova Scotia in 1991, he held several Rusung, Garsung, and Regimental Commander roles before serving as Dorje Kasung Sergeant Major from 1999 to 2011. During that period, Lennart taught kasungship across North America and Europe and led numerous NCO and leadership training programs.
He also holds a degree in Peacekeeping from the United Nations Institute of Training and Research and completed mindfulness training for the US Marines. For the past seven years, he has served on the Board of the Society of Atlantic Heroes, a charity supporting first responders and military personnel, and has delivered presentations to military and first responder organisations.
Lennart’s guiding passion is to keep the precious Dorje Kasung transmissions practiced, active, and alive in service of our challenging time, now and for the future.
