Leanne’s path into Buddhism began in 2014, when she started meditating with Ben Addock. A year later, a trip to Katoomba to hear His Holiness the Dalai Lama became a deeply moving moment, with his presence felt even from the back row. In that same year, she discovered the Milton Buddhist Centre, joined the committee, and became part of a warm, supportive community.
It was also there that Leanne first met Khenpo Ngawang Dhamchoe, whose compassion and humility left a lasting impression on her. Since then, she has continued to deepen her studies through many teachings, and in 2024 she graduated from the Autumn Buddhist Philosophy Course.
Today, Leanne brings mindfulness, meditation, yoga, and Buddhist philosophy into her work with clients and staff at Yumaro Ulladulla, offering a grounded and thoughtful presence shaped by years of practice and learning.
