Laura first encountered yoga as a teenager, but it was in 2009 that her practice became truly dedicated. She went on to complete her first teacher training with The Yoga People in 2015 and has since taught full-time in London, leading workshops and retreats throughout the UK and internationally. In 2022, she became the owner and director of Croydon Yoga Hub. Having lived in Croydon for five years and grown up in South London, Laura feels deeply connected to her local community and is honoured to share the benefits of yoga there.
With more than 1,200 hours of training across a range of yoga styles, Laura’s teaching is grounded in a strong commitment to continuous learning. She completed Kino MacGregor’s 300-hour training, further expanding her knowledge and refining her approach. Laura also holds a Distinction in an MSc in Consciousness, Spirituality, and Transpersonal Psychology, which has deepened her understanding of yoga as a spiritual path of self-inquiry.
Laura is a certified Sound Healing Practitioner, holding a Level 3 Diploma accredited by IPHM. She offers deeply restful soundbaths with crystal singing bowls, Himalayan bowls, gong, and Koshi chimes. Alongside yoga and sound healing, she has trained in martial arts for over a decade and holds a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, which she also teaches. Her dynamic classes reflect this varied background, inviting students to explore challenging postures while building a stronger connection to their bodies and inner selves. Laura sees herself as a lifelong student of yoga, sharing her insights with the same curiosity and passion she brings to her own practice.
