
Born in Dranang, Tibet, in 1969, Lama Gyurme Rabgye has devoted his life to the preservation and practice of traditional Tibetan arts. At the age of 15, he was invited by the head monk of Mindroling Monastery to begin his studies in painting and classical craftsmanship, marking the start of a lifelong artistic path. His first teacher came from Kham, in Eastern Tibet, where he learned the foundations that shaped his refined approach to sacred art.
As a master painter and craftsman, Lama Gyurme carries forward a rich cultural lineage with precision, discipline, and deep respect for tradition.
