Scholar and teacher Lama Kunzang Chönyi Zangmo, also known as Lihi Eliaz, began her Buddhist path at a very young age under the guidance of Chagdud Tulku Rinpoche. Her early years were shaped by deep study and disciplined practice, laying the foundation for a lifelong commitment to the Dharma.
By her early teens, she was already spending summers in retreat, and at just 14, she entered a one-year retreat. After completing high school, she returned for an additional three-year retreat devoted to the full stages of Dzogchen practice. This rare level of dedication reflects both her training and her devotion to spiritual realization.
As a teacher, Lama Chönyi brings the depth of long-term retreat experience, scholarly insight, and a grounded presence that supports sincere practitioners on their own path.
