
Novelist Kylie Fitzpatrick holds a Master’s degree and a PhD in Literature and Creative Writing. After teaching for several years on the Creative Writing degree and MA programmes at Bath Spa University in the UK, she went on to develop Curative Writing, her wellbeing-focused writing programme, shaped by years of research, writing, and collaboration with writers as well as educational and cultural institutions. She now works as a consultant for the Faber Academy, Writers & Artists at Bloomsbury Publishing, Cornerstones Literary Consultancy, and serves as a director at Archetype Books.
Kylie spent her childhood across Europe, the UK, the US, and Australia. Her professional background also includes broadcasting and script development, with experience working alongside the BBC, ABC, and other producers and broadcasters. Her four historical novels have been published in eleven languages.
