Description

About Kurt

Since 2008, Kurt, the owner of El Sabanero Eco Lodge, has transformed the property into a sanctuary for self-discovery and personal growth. By weaving together yoga and plant medicine, he has created an atmosphere that supports inner exploration and nourishes the soul.

As a Reiki Master and meditation guide with more than 25 years of experience, Kurt offers guests far more than accommodation. He provides a space for healing and deep inner peace, reflected in the calm setting of the lodge and the thoughtful wellness programs he has developed.

Located in the heart of Costa Rica, El Sabanero Eco Lodge provides a peaceful backdrop for Kurt’s transformative retreats. Guests can take part in daily yoga sessions, join guided meditation, and experience the healing benefits of Reiki under his expert care.

Kurt’s love for yoga and meditation, together with his commitment to creating a serene retreat experience, helps each guest leave feeling refreshed and centered. His work at the lodge reflects his belief in holistic practices that support the body, mind, and spirit.

My Journey

Kurt Reichenberger believes in the power of mindfulness and healing. He often shares Mahatma Gandhi’s words: "Be the change you want to see in the world." This philosophy shapes his approach to wellness and retreat facilitation.
