With nearly 15 years of experience in therapeutic psychedelic facilitation, Krystal Penrose brings a deeply grounded, trauma-informed approach to healing work. Her training includes a rigorous three-year Integrated Psychedelic Therapy program with AWE, now Ecstatic Mysticism, where she developed a clinical foundation centered on attachment and complex trauma. She has also studied and dieted with the Yawanawá and Huni Kuin tribes of the Brazilian Amazon, and within the Santo Daime and Tz’utujil Mayan cacao traditions, weaving Indigenous ceremonial lineages into her practice with care and respect.
Her path into this work was shaped by her own recovery from chronic illness, cancer, complex PTSD, and treatment-resistant depression. That lived experience informs the compassionate support she offers today, especially for guests moving through complex PTSD, attachment wounds, spiritual crisis, and major life transitions. At SANCTUM, Krystal also supports veterans and others navigating relationship challenges, bridging clinical care with ceremonial wisdom in a way that feels both safe and deeply restorative.
