Born and raised in Berlin, I have always carried a deep desire to explore the world. That search led me to my life’s calling in 1993, when my very first yoga class awakened a lasting sense of contentment and purpose. Since 2002, I have been guiding retreats and groups with wholehearted dedication. I bring together my two great passions — travel, shaped by my studies in tourism, and my yoga teacher training with the BDY from 1998 to 2002 — to create experiences in powerful places where we not only practice asanas, but also build bridges between people and landscapes.
Years of experience in one-to-one and group settings, a solid understanding of different yoga traditions, medical and anatomical knowledge, and above all my loving respect for each person’s individuality create a space for relaxation, growth, and healing. Through gentle yoga and plenty of room for awareness, I offer paths that invite balance and development on the physical, mental, and spiritual levels. At the heart of my work is always connection — to the heart, and to a kind, inward and outward gaze. I meet each person where they are, walk part of the way with them, and offer inspiration along the journey. This is a deep inner calling for me.
My sense of humor, combined with the depth that comes from life experience, and my sensitive ability to create spaces where the heart can open, allow meaningful encounters and healing on profound levels, always accompanied by lightness.
I have a deep love for nature and enjoy discovering special places of power during my many travels. In these places, I experience in a very direct way that everything we need is already there. Whenever possible, I practice yoga not only in the shelter of an indoor space, but also outdoors, surrounded by nature.
My work is also enriched by my love of dance and other forms of movement, meditation, as well as work with the voice and the energy of sound.
In addition to yoga, I offer holistic energetic massages and coaching. These can support and deepen the processes that begin in group work, and they are also a valuable path in themselves for listening to the inner voice, understanding the language of the body more clearly, and receiving impulses from the unconscious. I accompany these processes by emptying myself and listening, sensing, and following what arises. In this way, contact with deeper layers of the body and soul can be established, and what is ready to emerge in the moment is allowed to unfold. My wide range of methods gives me great flexibility in my work.
Flowing, mindful, and conscious movements guided by the rhythm of the breath open the door to relaxation, deep experience, and the precious moments when the mind grows quiet.
