Kristin Rübesamen is regarded as one of Germany’s most respected yoga teachers. With nearly three decades of experience, she teaches as a certified Jivamukti and Om Yoga teacher, bringing deep knowledge and strong expertise to her classes. As editor-in-chief of YogaEasy, host of the podcast series “Besser leben mit Yoga,” and author of several books, she lives authentically with her two adult daughters. Her teaching is marked by openness without dogma, sharp wit, and genuine curiosity. Classes unfold with focus, offer a challenge, and often have a dance-like quality. Her inspiring teachers include Sharon Gannon, David Life, Cyndi Lee, Sharon Salzberg, Mark Whitwell, Sarah Powers, Jenny Kapuler, Renate Ockel, and Hermann Traitteur.
She spent ten years in London and New York, led workshops in Moscow and Switzerland, taught in Plötzensee prison, and organized retreats on Rügen, Crete, in Tuscany, and at a monastery by Lake Kochel. These varied paths reflect Kristin’s long-standing practice: yoga is everywhere.
