As Treasurer, Kristen Albrecht brings a thoughtful blend of mission-driven leadership, systems thinking, and a deep commitment to mindful living. She is the Co-Founder and COO of Ravel, a textile recycling company based in Seattle that transforms blended textile waste into new raw materials. Her background also includes co-founding Nube, a sustainable apparel brand made in the U.S. that partnered with artists to create products from recycled materials.
Kristen holds an MBA in Sustainable Solutions from Presidio Graduate School and has extensive experience in supply chains, organizational systems, and board service. Her work is rooted in a strong belief in circular systems, local manufacturing, and building resilient communities through the circular economy.
She lives on a small biodynamic family farm near the Whidbey Institute, where pigs, chickens, and cows are part of daily life. This close connection to land and community reflects the values that guide both her personal and professional path.
