
Kikū Christina Lehnherr brings decades of committed practice, teaching, and care to her work as a non-residential teacher. She served as Abiding Abbess at City Center from 2012 to 2014, and previously held the role of Tanto, or Head of Practice, from 2003 to 2006. A student of Tenshin Reb Anderson, she was ordained as a priest in 1993 and received Dharma Transmission in 2005.
Her background also includes degrees in physical therapy and clinical psychology, both of which she practiced in Switzerland before continuing her path in the Dharma. Since 2006, Christina has lived in Marin, where she remains available to support students with steadiness, insight, and a grounded presence shaped by years of study and service.
