Kerr Mesner (he/him) is a consultant, facilitator, and spiritual director whose work is grounded in contemplative Christian practice, creativity, and advocacy. As a queer/transgender artist and activist, he brings a thoughtful, inclusive perspective to every space he holds. Through Heart Story Consulting, he partners with schools, higher education institutions, and nonprofits to help them cultivate environments that honor diversity, with a special emphasis on celebrating gender diversity.
His background includes training in the Pacific Jubilee Program in Spiritual Direction, and he is also an ordained minister with Metropolitan Community Churches. Kerr’s approach reflects both professional experience and a deep commitment to care, reflection, and authentic connection. Outside of his consulting and ministry work, he enjoys writing songs and performing in his local community theatre, bringing the same creativity and presence to his artistic life.
