Keigo Kariyan
Drawing on years spent living in a monastery and immersed in Zen tradition, Keigo leads a grounded yoga practice shaped by balance, clear intention, and a meditative quality.
Guided by gratitude and reverence, he brings a perspective that honors both the beauty and fragility of life, sharing that awareness with his students. As practitioners reconnect with body and breath, Keigo invites them to keep nurturing an awakened mind long after leaving the mat.
He first came to yoga more than a decade ago as preparation for long periods of sitting in the zendo, and has since continued to study it as a way of life. His deeper purpose is to support the development of team sports education through yogic and spiritual awareness.
Keigo completed his teacher training at Australian Yoga Academy (350hr) and continues to learn from his mentors and teachers with deep respect and appreciation: Hogen and Chozen Bays, Andrew and Lucy Lawes.
