Katie Hagel, RYT-500, is an ANFT-certified Nature and Forest Therapy Guide, an Ayurvedic Health Counselor, and a Kripalu yoga instructor. Through her work, she supports people in reducing stress, improving overall wellbeing, and inviting more joy into daily life by reconnecting with nature and the restorative rhythms of the living earth.
Her approach is grounded in the belief that a deeper relationship with the natural world can awaken a sense of interconnectedness with all life and inspire a more caring relationship with the Earth. Katie is also a member of the faculty of the Kripalu School of Mindful Outdoor Leadership, where she contributes her experience and perspective to outdoor learning and leadership.
Outside of her teaching, Katie enjoys experimenting in the kitchen, observing wild birds, and spending extended days kayaking in the Adirondacks.
