She was instrumental in launching Haley House, a dynamic and multi-dimensional human service organization, and supported its organic growth over the course of five decades.
Personal Journey and Commitment
Kathe’s experience as a mother, wife, and grandmother has shaped her perspective and strengthened her dedication to dismantling the barriers that uphold inequality. Her path has moved from dusty back roads in Mississippi to chanting and drumming alongside Nipponzan Myohoji monks from the Peace Pagoda.
Current Focus
In response to the pressures of capitalism and the worsening condition of the environment, Kathe is now directing her energy toward this emerging focus.
