Kate Larson first turned to yoga as a way to support her healing. Originally from Arizona, she has spent more than ten years in organic farming, beginning in her home state before continuing her work in Washington and Tennessee. For years, she lived with chronic lower back pain and ongoing fatigue, and yoga offered a gentle, low-impact practice that complemented her lifestyle. It helped lengthen her muscles, build core strength, ease her mild scoliosis, and bring comfort and calm to her mind. For Kate, the practice felt like a return to a younger self — a chance to explore life with less ego and more freedom.
In 2021, she completed her 200hr RYT certification to deepen her personal yoga practice and understanding. After graduating, she felt called to share what she had learned and to help others feel empowered, present, and balanced in body and mind. Kate enjoys creative transitions, arm balances, and standing balances, and she teaches vinyasa power and slow flow, gentle, and restorative yoga for students of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities. She believes there is a practice for everyone and loves creating a warm, welcoming space where each student can discover theirs.
