Hi, I’m Julie — still walking the same path, just further along it.
I spent 18 years as an immigrant and 12 years in corporate London, quietly abandoning myself along the way. Eventually, I hit a wall. I left, trained in India, exchanged consumption for knowledge, and began healing from the inside out. I started this practice from the middle of my own rebuild.
Now I live between the jungle and Europe, because I chose to stop forcing myself to fit one place. I no longer settle for a life I can succeed in but not fully live. I choose a life with intention, purpose, and love.
The Embodied Truth Method was created because the lost woman I once was needed something the wellness industry had not yet made. I built it for her. For you.
One crash changed everything, including my spine. After 12 years in corporate HR — leading teams, meeting targets, owning property, and looking successful on paper — I was exhausted in a way no weekend could repair. I was sad and disconnected in a way no conversation could reach. Then came the crash, major surgery, and a year moving in and out of hospitals. I had to rebuild from the body up.
Yoga became more than a class; it became a way of living. Coaching became more than a conversation; it became a return to myself. Spirituality stopped being something I posted and became a daily practice. I stopped chasing approval through more, chose less, and finally felt enough.
The method I created is the method I needed.
Numbness is a quiet no. There is a version of achievement that costs you your own life. Autopilot. A half-lived existence. The woman who can no longer feel what she wants. The body she stopped listening to until “I’m fine” became the only sentence she could say without flinching. I lived there for a long time. I don’t anymore. That is the only credential I truly cared about earning.
The credentials are the foundation, not the destination. The training behind this method has taken years and is still unfolding. Here is the base it stands on.
I live the way I work. I love Europe — the cafés, the books, the centuries-old streets, the pace. I love the wild just as much — the jungle, the land, and the unedited simplicity of living close to what matters. I chose not to choose. I teach and hold spaces in Costa Rica and online, worldwide. I run retreats in places that make stillness easier. I write from an early-morning terrace, watching birds and butterflies. I take breaks in the sea and at waterfalls when my body asks for them. The Sunday blues are gone.
The shape of my life reflects the shape of the work: yoga beyond the mat, the body included, and a life built from the inside out. This is what self-abundance looks like in a real week.
It is falling in love with life. I built this because I needed it — and because I knew I wasn’t alone. Self-abandonment is the silent rule so many of us live by, disguised as success, productivity, or “I’m fine.” We accept it. We let it run the only life we have. Until one day the body says no.
Once I found clarity, freedom, and aliveness, I knew I had to share it — with the woman sitting next to me, the friend on the call, and the version of myself from a year earlier, quietly missing her own life and rarely saying it out loud.
Because I want to see this world alive, not surviving.
The method brings together yoga as a way of living, coaching as conscious mind, energy as the body’s intelligence, and life as the ground beneath it all — woven by one practitioner trained across all four lanes. Me. Built for the one relationship every other relationship rests on: the one with yourself.
