Holistic trauma therapist, educator, and speaker with a background in social work and a clinical license in psychotherapy focused on attachment and trauma. After eight years investigating child abuse as a social worker, Julianne Chapman experienced profound burnout and vicarious trauma, which led her into her own healing journey. Along the way, she became a certified yoga teacher and shamanic breathwork facilitator, and completed training in nutrition and integrative medicine for mental health and psychedelic psychotherapy.
For the past decade, her healing path has centered on understanding the nervous system, cultivating joy, and meeting her own trauma story with compassion. Over the last five years, she has taught trauma-informed care, nervous system regulation, and holistic wellness strategies designed to create HOMEostasis in the body. She also trains social workers, therapists, medical professionals, and other frontline workers in prevention and interventions for vicarious trauma and burnout.
Julianne guides psychedelic psychotherapy and integration sessions, holding deep respect for plant wisdom and the medicine of human connection. Her approach is rooted in somatic practices that support healing of both mind and body. She believes in returning to ourselves and one another through connection, and brings warmth, insight, and care to every workshop and teaching she leads.
Outside of her professional work, she loves dancing, music, surfing, yoga, writing, and travel, and sees her life itself as an act of self-care.
