Born in a small mountain village in Austria and now living in Costa Rica, Julia brings more than ten years of experience in mental health care as a psychiatric nurse. Her professional path also includes seven years of training to become a psychotherapist with a focus on Existential Analysis, and she is currently completing her master’s degree.
As she became aware of the limits of traditional talk therapy, Julia deepened her study of psychedelics. To strengthen her work, she completed specialized training in psychedelic preparation and integration at Awake in the Dream School. Grounded in the teachings of Viktor Frankl, she continues to develop her therapeutic practice by weaving existential analysis together with psychedelic-assisted healing.
In addition to her psychotherapy work, Julia is a certified Ayurveda practitioner, bringing holistic support for physical, mental, and spiritual well-being into her sessions. Her background also includes extensive experience in addiction treatment and palliative care, shaping a compassionate, client-centered approach that supports people through some of life’s most difficult transitions.
Julia’s work is also shaped by her own transformative near-death experience, which deepened her awareness of life’s impermanence and the importance of living and expressing oneself authentically. She is devoted to helping people find meaning, move through existential uncertainty, and connect with their creative potential.
With an open heart, intuitive presence, and deep compassion, Julia offers a safe and supportive space for transformation. As a certified yoga teacher, she brings movement, breathwork, and the healing presence of nature into her therapeutic approach. She feels a strong connection to water, seeing it as a symbol of emotional release, renewal, and flow.
Julia’s mission is to support clients on a path of self-discovery, resilience, and inner freedom, so they can create lives that feel deeply alive and aligned with their core values.
