Originally from England and now based in Greece, Judy Attwood brings together a strong academic background and a lifelong commitment to the visual arts. She studied art and art history at the University of Manchester, earning both a B.A. and a PGCE, before building a career in art and design education in England and later in Greece. For the past four years, she has taught in the I.B. Visual Arts department at Psychico College in Athens and also serves as an examiner for the International Baccalaureate.
Alongside her teaching, Judy has presented her work in solo and group exhibitions in Greece and internationally. Her practice is inspired by the details of the natural environment, with fish often appearing as a symbol of the human condition, exploring themes of entrapment and the desire to break free. More recently, she has focused on etching and printmaking, and she is a member of the Society for Greek Printmakers.
