About Juan Carlos Arkawa
Juan Carlos Arkawa has dedicated 22 years to working with Ayahuasca. He trained in Colombia and approaches the sacrament with deep respect and honor.
Musician and Artist
JC is a multi-instrumentalist, producer, composer, and arranger of Indigenous Colombian heritage from Los Pastos. With more than 30 years of musical experience, his work blends instruments and ethnic music from different regions of the world, alongside cultural wisdom from ancestral communities and modern technology.
Performance and Recognition
He is a self-taught performer on more than 100 wind instruments from around the world. In 2014, he was honored by the Congress of the Republic of Colombia for his artistic contribution. JC has performed in major Colombian cities and internationally in Rome, Prague, the United States, Greece, Spain, Germany, Austria, and beyond. He has also appeared on international television and radio, including Telemundo, Univision, and CCTV Channel of Central China, and has produced more than 85 works for Colombian and international artists.
